YAHOO NO THANKS!
Web pioneer Yahoo (YHOO) has resisted the urge to merge with Microsoft (MSFT) for more than a year. But with its latest refusal Yahoo is playing a dangerous game.

In a statement released Feb. 11, Yahoo's board cited the company's "global brand, large worldwide audience, significant recent investments in advertising platforms and future growth prospects, free cash flow and earnings potential, as well as our substantial unconsolidated investments." Microsoft, the argument goes, is seizing on the drop in Yahoo's stock to buy the company on the cheap. Read more---

Chinese dumplings containing pesticide have sparked a food scare in Japan.
Ten people, including a mother and her four children, have become ill after eating meat dumplings that authorities believe contained pesticide.
The company that imported the dumplings has issued an immediate nationwide recall for all food produced by the same Chinese factory.
Police say they are investigating the possibility of criminal negligence.
Japan imported around $1 billion worth of food from China last year - this scare will heighten concerns about its safety.
